AVELENE SALES
Cooper
2004 16.3h Draft Cross
Cooper is a very large three year old half draft gelding.  He was delivered to Avelene
(imported from Canada) as an untouched, unpapered six month old quarter horse colt.
He obviously is not a quarter horse!  He is lovely though.  Correct in every way, however,
he is too large for us.  This is a promising field hunter with 10 1/2 inches of bone already!
He stands quietly for the farrier and vet, loads and trailers like a pro, cross ties, and long
lines.  He has had a saddle on and been longed.  He is going to make an unflappable
companion for someone looking for a very large horse.
Soxie's 5th Ave.
10 yr old Black TB Mare
In Foal
Confirmed in foal to
Tre Awain Dobh
McDuff,  black
connemara stallion.
Soxie is a very well bred Californian mare.  She successfully did the Florida
Hunter Circuit.  Soxie is a daisy cutter mover with conformation attributes that
make her a phenomenal jumper as well as hunter.  A very trusted and
professional horsewoman sent her north to us to add to our breeding program
November 2006.   We put her in foal in May of 2007 to McDuff for a late
April 2008 foal.   We absolutely love our 2007 halfbred foals by McDuff.

Soxie has impeccable ground manners due to her show career in Florida.  Our
interest originally was for breeding only and as such, that is how we offer her.
We felt she would make wonderful pony crosses for the hunter ring.
Reasonably offered at $2500
We have plans to  reduce our numbers due to a land lease termination.
Reluctantly but confidently, we offer for sale horses that have been
handpicked for our program.  Avelene is not a resale barn but a quality
breeding program looking to downsize.  This is a unique opportunity to
purchase quality stock from a reputable source.

FERTILE MYRTLE
1999 Dark Bay TB Mare
Myrtle is a uniquely bred TB mare off the track.  She stands over 16.3 and
has very nice bone.  Her confirmation is very dressage oriented with strengths
for eventing.  She is straighter in her hindquarters and back at her withers
enabling great suspension and collection.  Her point of shoulder is high and
she has good length in her humerus.  She moves right out and covers
tremendous ground effortlessly!  She is breeding and riding sound with
jockey club papers.  She has an unfazed disposition with a very kind
nature...very easy to be around.  Myrtle was left open this season.  Her price
is reflective of lack of finishing work only.
She is an opportunity at $4500.
