JEF Fiona
2001 14.3h Grey Mare
Sire Tre Awain Dobh McDuff
by Tre Awain Ginger Blue
Dam Greenway Erin Linden
by Greenway Kilross
Fiona is a gorgeous girl!  She is owned by Ginny and Joe Winkler of Journey's End
Farm in Gardiner, NY.  Fiona spent last summer in our training program falling in love
with kids and trails.  Her pedigree includes dressage, event, driving, and distance
horses.  Fiona's dam-sire was a 100 miler!

Cooper
2004 16.3h Draft Cross
Cooper is a very large three year old half draft gelding.  He was delivered to Avelene
(imported from Canada) as an untouched, unpapered six month old quarter horse colt.
He obviously is not a quarter horse!  He is lovely though.  Correct in every way,
however, he is too large for a trail horse.  This is a promising field hunter with 10 1/2
inches of bone already!  He stands quietly for the farrier and vet, loads and trailers
like a pro, cross ties, and long lines.  He has had a saddle on and been longed.  He is
going to make an unflappable companion for someone looking for a very large horse.
Loving Home a Must, He is a Special Boy! $1,200 Prebacking.

Ian is a nicely bred 4 year old gelding.  His full brother is stallion JEF Sir
Lancelot standing at Backdoor Farm in Westmorland,KS.  Lance was the
2005 Region VII Hunter/Jumper Champion.  Ian exhibits the same
excellent temperament and innate athleticism.  He will mature over height.
Ian just arrived at Avelene!  Nothing bothers this guy...he is amazing!  More
photos to come!

Dam Runaway Sunbeam
    by Hideaways Erin Smithereen
Patrice is lovely isn't she!  This pony has wonderful bloodlines.  Her dam is a full sister to
Hideaway's Erin Go Bragh.  We have greatly enjoyed this breeding of Hideaway  to Tre Awain.
The ponies it produces are consistent in their athleticism, temperament, and generosity.   Patrice
will stay pony.  She is inspected and approved by the American Connemara Pony Society!
Patrice just entered a lease agreement that is likely to end in a sale...check back with us on her!

Dam Queen Ann's Lace
    by Greystone Special Edition
Gabby is a beautiful 3/4 conn/tb black pony mare.  Her dam's grandsire is the recent
Tooreen Laddie winner Greystone Dallen McMor.  She is a farm favorite and
desperate for her own special person.  She will likely stay pony.  Doesn't she have the
cutest face!
Journey's End Farm is ending their breeding program to enjoy a well earned
retirement.  We will greatly enjoy Ginny and Joe's contribution to the American Bred
Connemaras.  These are a few of the last of their breeding program.  Journey's End
Ponies are consistently purchased as youngstock and rarely come available again!
Here at Avelene,  our ponies from Journey's End will become a rare investment into
our breeding and riding program as each of these ponies are the end of their lines.
