Ginny and Joe Winkler have contributed immensely to the success of our farm. Their
lines are so important to our breeding program that one day we would like to earn the
title of "Sister Farm" as they begin to slow their breeding down. Bonnie, Angel, and
Baylee are by HH Greystone Sir Charles and bred by Ginny. These mares are
very special to our breeding program as Sir Charles was recently gelded. In 2006, we
bred exclusively to their Tre Awain Dobh McDuff.
As Ginny and Joe, we hope to offer the connemara community quality ponies. We
look forward to a time where Avelene will be known for producing connemaras and
crosses that are correct and tractable.

Sandhill Stables is a gorgeous facility in Winter Garden, Florida. Stacey and Shawn both felt
Avelene would benefit from the addition of a nice, fine featured, athletic Thoroughbred mare. Soxie
was used in their breeding program after finishing her Hunter/Jumper career. Her colt can be seen on
their website www.Sandhillstables.com. Now that she has had a chance to adjust to our colder climate,
we are looking forward to breeding her for the 2007-8 season. Thank you Stacey and Shawn!

Thanks to Britney Sturtz of Brit Le' Brand Farm, we added Laya to our
breeding program for a 2007 foal. The opportunity for our small farm to have
such a well bred mare was priceless. She was exceptionally easy to breed and has
carried her foal effortlessly so far. We love her affectionate "pocket pony"
nature about as much as we love her "steady as a rock" attitude. Her foal is
anxiously anticipated. Thank you Britney!
Ann R Chaffee, DVM and Sue Grippo
These two women are an integral part of our farms health and success. Dr. Ann is our
veterinarian and Sue is our farrier. As all breeders realize, you can only be as good as the
people around you. Working with young stock is not an easy thing and we appreciate the
professionals we have employed to do so here. These two professionals have a style and
nature about them that have enabled some of the toughest tasks. Thank you Dr. Ann and
Sue for your tireless efforts regardless the weather!
