Avelene Smaug and his sire Avelene Morrowseer. First and Second generation purebred Connemaras bred by our program.

Avelene is a family run farm located in the Fingerlakes Region of New York State bordering the Federal Forrest and surrounded by the famous Wine Trails and area Waterfalls. Through the decades we have hosted fabulous guests visiting the area and learning about the Connemara ponies. More recently, our farm has been the location of Avelene Wellness for nine years with a focus on Medical Massage. The bustle at the 1842 Federal Home is idyllic surrounded by agriculture and open preserved land. Come visit us and stay at our farm in our Guest Suite to enjoy all the many attractions the Fingerlakes Region has to offer!

We are 15 miles from Cornell University and the city of Ithaca as well as 15 miles from Watkins Glen and the Glen Race Track.  Because we are equidistant from both Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, we are the perfect location to enjoy all area restaurants, wineries, distilleries, and breweries.
