We had an exciting year! Avelene has lowered it’s carbon footprint with Solar Panels and Geothermal Heat. It’s been a dream of ours to not just be more sustainable but to also be more environmentally sound. The 64 solar panels installed on both sides of the barn roof afford us heat and air conditioning year round as well as all electrical needs both in the barn and house. Our new heating and cooling system is supported by a very large geothermal field. We are proud to have been one of the largest residential installs to date for HALCO.
